WARREN AND YOUNG PLL COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY

At Warren and Young PLL, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy of the personal information we receive about you in the course of our representation. We know that your privacy is important to you, and that you trust us to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. Collecting that information is critical to providing superior quality legal services and will be used only for that purpose.

Although there is a new federal law designed to protect the privacy of nonpublic personal information about consumers, we as attorneys have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality that are even more stringent than those required by the new law. The attorneys and staff at Warren and Young have successfully protected the confidentiality of our client's information for over 80 years, and we are confident that our administrative, technical and physical safeguards, as well as our policies and procedures, meet or exceed all legal standards.

The purpose of this notice is to inform you of our privacy policy and describe how we treat the information we receive about you.

Information We May Collect About You:

Warren and Young collects nonpublic personal information about you only in connection with and for the purpose of providing you with the legal services you have engaged us to perform. The types of nonpublic information we collect vary according to the services we perform for you, and may include:

  • Information we receive from you (such as name, address, social security number, income, assets, liabilities, or other financial or household information)
  • Information about your relationship with us (such as the types of legal services we provide to you, your invoice balances, and your payment history)
  • Information we receive, with your authorization, from third parties (such as accountants, financial advisors, insurance agents, banking or financial institutions and others)

How We Handle Your Information:

Warren and Young does not disclose public or nonpublic personal information that you have provided to us to anyone outside our firm, except as authorized by you or required by law. For example, with your consent, we may disclose personal information to a third-party contractor, such as an appraiser, accountant or other expert, who is assisting us in providing services to you. In addition, we will release information to the extent required by law or regulation. We do not sell client information to anyone or disclose client information to marketing companies.

How We Protect Your Information:

We restrict access to public and nonpublic information about you that you have provided to us to those attorneys and staff at the firm who need to know the information to provide the legal services to you. All Warren and Young attorneys and employees are required to maintain the confidentiality of all nonpublic personal information about you. We have instituted and maintain physical, technical and procedural safeguards that comply with federal law and our more stringent professional standards to protect the public and nonpublic personal information you have provided to us.

Questions about your personal information collected by us, or about this privacy policy, may be addressed to any of the members of the firm.
